First On Site Meeting for "EUComplianceM4UA"

International partners met in Wismar to drive forward the EU ComplianceM4UA project. Workshops and training sessions formed the core of the programme. The kick-off meeting of the EU project ‘EUComplianceM4UA’ took place at the University of Wismar from 20 to 23 January 2025. The aim was to put together and define the first work packages for all partners, as well as to gain initial insights into the different competencies in the area of compliance management. The meeting thus laid the foundation for further cooperation within the Erasmus+ project. As the lead partner, the University of Wismar would like to thank all participants for the good and successful cooperation.
With regard to compliance, the training sessions not only covered legal aspects and regulations, but also the areas of business ethics and behaviour, as well as management practices and entrepreneurship. Source: Wismar University of Applied Sciences/MW

Kick-off meeting for EU Compliance M4UA project started

On 22 November 2024, the online kick-off meeting for the EU ComplianceM4UA project, which aims to promote compliance management in Ukraine, took place. On 22 November 2024, Wismar Business School hosted the online kick-off meeting for the ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE project EUComplianceM4UA. The aim of the project is to introduce compliance management in Ukrainian universities. In his welcome address, project coordinator Prof. Dr. Ali Arnaout emphasised the importance of clear management practices. Dr. Anna Fomenko presented the project plan and highlighted the importance of effective communication. The 24-month project includes online and face-to-face meetings, quality assessments and close cooperation between partners.

EUComplianceM4UA strengthens compliance management in Ukraine

The EU project, supported by Wismar University of Applied Sciences and other EU partners, promotes the training of compliance management at Ukrainian universities. As part of the Erasmus+ programme "Capacity building in Higher Education", the ‘EUComplianceM4UA’ project is setting new standards in compliance management at universities in Ukraine. Wismar University of Applied Sciences is coordinating the collaboration between four EU universities and five Ukrainian partners to improve academic integrity and the employability of graduates. Over a period of 24 months, European compliance standards and digital learning methods will be introduced, including e-books and gamification elements. The initiators of the project are Prof. Dr. Ali Arnaout and Dr. Anna Fomenko from the Wismar Business School at Wismar University of Applied Sciences.
